This logo design was so much fun to work on. I had a pretty clear vision over what I wanted to do from the very beginning. The client told me that most of his customers were female, so I knew I needed to have a female mascot. I imagined a lady in a kimono posing against a paper lantern in an early evening setting. Once I communicated that to the client, he pretty much let me do what I wanted. I continued the theme into the header design, where each element represents a different functionality. I wanted this to be a cute but very beautiful and elegant design. This is one of my wife's favorites.
